In the current era there is a permanent and continuous change of the professions and hence the requirements of a job. Changes in the labor market (eg the emergence of new professions, the high unemployment rate, the inability to have a job, the loss of employment) lead to an increase job insecurity, making the young people less confident. It can be noticed that those with fewer opportunities and/or medium or low educational background feel isolated, excluded and more disarmed when they fail to find a job suitable for their training and interests.

From the data provided by Eurostat results that in July 2018, 3,325 million young people in the EU (under 25 years old) were unemployed. The young people unemployment rate remained at high levels, reaching an average of 14.8%, the highest rates being recorded in Portugal (23.8%), Spain (33.4%), Italy (30.8% %), in Romania and Bulgaria high values being registred: 18.3% respectively 12.9% (all 5 partner countries in the project).
Finding a suitable job involves great efforts for the young unemployed people, increased confidence in their own strength, perseverance, will and continuous training.

In this context, the idea of the project JOB QUEST (JOB Q) was born. The purpose of the project: Increasing the interest in applying for a job, facilitating integration into the labor market and social inclusion of young people with a focus on those with fewer opportunities.

Proposed objectives:
– to increase the employability of 50 young people from 5 European countries by combining traditional methods with modern methods of looking for a job (min 8 methods) (until 30.06.2019);

-to increase the interest of applying for a job and to support the young people in order to identify the ideal compromise between personal desire and employment pressure, starting from 3 universally relevant career seletion criteria (until 11.03.2019);

– to improve the application capacity for a job by improving the drafting of a CV-Europass, a letter of intent, of motivation, a personalized letter of appreciation and the simulation of the application for a job by having as volunteer guests a commission consisting of at least 5 representatives of the local employers / entrepreneurs which will analyze, select and debate (until 11.03.2019);

– to support the social inclusion of 50 young people, of which 30 with fewer opportunities through the participation in all the activities of the project, in a social, intercultural and non-formal environment (until 30.06.2019).

The target group of the project will consist of: 50 young people (16-30 years old), of which min. 30 with fewer opportunities (young people without employment, young NEETs, young people from rural and/or isolated areas, young people from other ethnic groups, etc.).
The JOB QUEST partnership brings together 5 organizations from 5 European countries: Asociatia Pro Dezvoltare DACIA (APDD)-Romania, ICSE&Co. (International Center For Southern Europe)-Italy, Ecoworld Rhodopes Association-Bulgaria, All2help—Spain, Associação Juvenil da Ilha Terceira (AJITER) – Portugal.
JOB Q implementation period: 01.01.2019 – 30.06.2019. The mobility will take place in Romania, Horezu, between March 1-11 March 2019.
To achieve the competencies, JOB Q mobility activities will be based on the use of non-formal participatory and inter-active methods that foster creativity, communication, interaction, critical and creative thinking, intuition and teamwork, etc.
The proposed methods are selected according to the needs and profile of the young people, the theme chosen, the number of participants, the duration of the activity and the proposed objectives.

The activities of each day will end with a reflection session. On the last day of the mobility the young participants will receive Youthpass certificates.

The project aims a total impact towards at least 1000 people. Among the tangible results we can list: 1 project magazine (min 10 pages) with: brief description of the project, partners, mobility activities and impressions of participants accented with photos made during the mobility and 1 mini guide with the presentation of at least 8 methods of integration on the labor market.
